New Basberg Living
Recreational amenities at The Basberg include a synthetic grass tennis court that plays like clay, and a seasonal outdoor heated pool. Adjacent to the Basberg property is the 5,000-acre Basalt State Wildlife Area (SWA) which provides winter range for elk, mule deer, bighorn sheep and eagles. A network of trails wind through the SWA and provide access to the White River National Forest beyond.
Old Town Basalt is approximately a mile away in the opposite direction and makes for a scenic walk or drive.

Seventeen equal partners residing together within a common association, sharing life, space and respect.
The Basberg is located on a 7-acre bench a few hundred fee above Old Town Basalt. Set in a beautiful natural landscape of pinyon, juniper and sage typical of the Colorado Foothills life zone, our Community is landscaped with mature fir trees, aspen, and cottonwoods.
Residents enjoy spectacular views of the twin summits of 13,000 foot Mt. Sopris to the southwest, the Roaring Fork River valley, and the rugged terrain of the Fryingpan River valley to the east.
